Apple Magic Wand Remote Patent Updated

Apple already has a patent on a Magic Wand of sorts, which allows you to control a media system via a device similar to Nintendo’s Wiimote. Could Apple be looking to release such as device for its Apple TV or iMac anytime soon? The news that Apple has recently updated that patent is certainly interesting, though unfortunately it won’t guarantee that Apple is going to actually release such a device anytime soon. Some of the

updates include accelerometers on the device, which will certainly construct things more interesting. There is plus a photoshop-like application for its Magic Wand pictured; perhaps indicating that it could be used for drawing/doodling or similar objectives? What do you think?
