Amazon to patent boxing methodology for customers

While unboxing videos and images are highly popular with the masses due to many folks who want to kill the cat (by satisfying their curiousity just in case you were wondering what that was all about), Amazon decided to take the opposite route - by filing a patent for “a method of sending images and video clips to customers of their order being packaged for shipment - to reassure them that

everything is exact.” Sounds pretty handy, that “System and method for visual verification of order processing” patent since there are cases of wrong items being shipped to customers’ addreses. Guess there is no more goofing around for Amazon warehouse workers, eh?
